EN General Description The noon prayer is the second of the five obligatory prayers every day and night, by agreement of Muslims. It is a secret prayer consisting of four rak’ahs, and it is held throughout the week at noon except on Friday, so it is replaced by the Friday prayer for those who go to the mosque. It is the first prayer that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed after the five daily prayers.

AR General Description صلاة الظهر هي ثاني الصلوات الخمس المفروضة كل يوم وليلة، باتفاق المسلمين. وهي صلاة سرية تتكون من أربع ركعات، وتعقد طوال أيام الأسبوع وقت الظهيرة عدا يوم الجمعة، فتحل مكانها صلاة الجمعة بالنسبة لمن يذهب إلى المسجد. وهي أول صلاة صلاها النبي ﷺ بعد فرض الصلوات الخمس.
